From the pack, 11 hybrid funds were from aggressive hybrid and balanced advantage fund categories. Out of these 11 funds, nine were aggressive hybrid funds and two were balanced advantage funds.

Four toppers from aggressive hybridV

The top four schemes – Quant Absolute Fund, Bank of India Mid & Small Cap Equity & Debt Fund, ICICI Pru Equity & Debt Fund, and JM Aggressive Hybrid Fund – gave 24.16%, 22.04%, 20.45%, and 19.92% respectively in the last five years.

​HDFC Balanced Advantage Fund

This balanced advantage fund offered an 18.48% return in the last five years. The scheme is the largest scheme based on assets managed among all equity and equity-oriented schemes. The scheme had an AUM of Rs 83,548 crore as of April 2024.

Other four from aggressive hybrid

​The other schemes from the aggressive hybrid category were the Edelweiss Aggressive Hybrid Fund, Kotak Equity Hybrid Fund, Baroda BNP Paribas Aggressive Hybrid Fund, and UTI Aggressive Hybrid Fund which gave 17%, 16.78%, 16.21%, and 15.94% returns respectively in the said period.

Baroda BNP Paribas Balanced Advantage Fund

The scheme offered a 15.59% return in the last five years. Launched in November 2018, the scheme had an AUM of Rs 3,805.36 crore as of April 2024.
