Around 10 companies witnessed the highest selling by mutual funds in March, according to a press release by Prime database. Here is the detailed list.

Mutual funds sold around 1.82 crore shares of Persistent Systems in March taking the total number of shares to 1.61 crore against 3.43 crore shares in December. This net selling was worth Rs 7,426 crore.

​Mutual Funds sold 5.32 crore shares of ICICI Bank in March taking the total number of shares to 167.89 crore. The number of shares in December was 173.22 crore shares. This net selling was worth Rs 5,555 crore.

​Mutual Funds sold 11.52 crore shares of NTPC. The number of shares in March was recorded at 174.08 crore shares against 185.60 crore shares in December. This net selling was worth Rs 3,743 crore.
