Around 10 companies saw the highest buying by mutual funds in the March quarter against the last quarter, according to a press release by Prime Database. Here is the detailed list

Mutual funds added around 24.53 crore shares of HDFC Bank in the March quarter with a total number of shares recorded at 152.18 crore against 127.64 crore shares in the December quarter. The net buy was Rs 35,891 crore.

Mutual funds added 23.81 crore shares of ITC in the March quarter. The total number of shares was recorded at 144.22 crore against 120.41 crore in the December quarter. The net buy was Rs 10,175 crore.

Mutual funds added 3.51 shares of Reliance Industries to their portfolio. The total shares were recorded at 49.56 crore in the March quarter against 46.04 crore in the December quarter. The net buy was of Rs 10,046 crore.
