Which are India’s 10 most wanted mutual fund schemes? Here’s the full list

There are 1500 mutual fund schemes which include equity, debt, and hybrid (active and passive) funds. ETMutualFunds did some data crunching to find out the top 10 mutual fund schemes with the highest asset sizes. Here is the full list of schemes, according to the data from ACE MF.

These top 10 mutual fund schemes belong to ETF, balanced advantage, aggressive hybrid, flexi cap, mid cap, large cap, and liquid fund categories. Two balanced advantage funds, flexi cap funds, and ETFs were in the top 10 list. One aggressive hybrid, largecap, liquid fund, and midcap fund also feature on the list.

SBI Nifty 50 ETF, the largest mutual fund scheme, had an AUM of Rs 1.77 lakh crore in March as against Rs 1.73 lakh crore in February. The scheme has completed around 9 years in the market.

The fund had an AUM of Rs 1.08 lakh crore in March against Rs 1.05 lakh crore in February. The scheme has completed around 11 years in the market.

The total asset size of the fund was Rs 79,875 crore in March. The fund had a total AUM of Rs 78,759 crore in February. The fund has completed around 24 years of existence.

SBI Equity Hybrid Fund, an aggressive hybrid fund, had an AUM of Rs 67,196 crore in March against Rs 65,073 crore in February. The scheme has completed around 28 years in the market.

The largest scheme in the flexi cap category had an asset size of Rs 60,559 crore in March. The scheme had an AUM of Rs 58,900 crore in February and has completed around 11 years of existence.

The largest scheme in the mid cap category based on assets managed had an AUM of Rs 60,417 crore in March against Rs 60,186 crore in February. The scheme has completed around 17 years of existence in the market.

Two schemes from ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund – ICICI Pru Balanced Advantage Fund and ICICI Pru Bluechip Fund – had an asset size of Rs 56,174 crore and Rs 53,505 crore in March. The schemes have completed around 17 years and 16 years of existence.
