‘Ozzie and Harriet’ actor left hit ‘50s sitcom for starring role, got a surprise second act from Disney: son
Don DeFore, who starred in "Ozzie and Harriet" and "Hazel," died in 1993 at age 80. His son, Ron DeFore, has written a book about the TV and film actor titled "Growing Up In Disneyland Second Edition."
