Shipping Corporation, GE Shipping shares rally up to 5% ahead of Cabinet meeting today

Shares of Shipping Corporation of India and Great Eastern Shipping Company rose on the BSE amid reports that the Centre may approve the Coastal Shipping Bill 2024. The Bill aims to ease shipping sector rules, promote more ship lines into Indian ports, and enhance coordination between inland waterways and coastal shipping.
