RBI accepts bids worth Rs 9,296 crore in switch auction
In a government switch auction on Monday, the Reserve Bank of India accepted approximately ₹9,296 crore out of the notified ₹25,000 crore. Traders indicated that the yields demanded by market participants potentially exceeded the RBI's acceptable range. The RBI aimed to exchange nine securities maturing in FY27 for those maturing beyond FY32.
